Ask me what music means to me, and I
would probably give you an endless ramble on the profound
power and passion of music. But I may also try to convince
you of music’s universal link that intertwines itself into the
fabric of every particle of creation.
History
I have always been drawn to music for as
long as I can remember. But, in particular, I became obsessed
with the guitar. Intrigued with the look and sound of this
radical instrument, and at a young age, I saved up enough
paper route money to buy one from a Sears Catalogue. That was
it! Averaging at least six hours a day practicing and blindly
figuring out chords and scale patterns, a passion began to
grow. By the time I was sixteen, I was playing in clubs and at
private parties with band mates ten years older than me. Over
the years I have been involved in countless band projects,
several resulting in awards for “Best of the Bands
Competitions”, and I continue to perform solo acoustic shows.
Present
And that passion continues to escalate.
Thirty years into the business and having acquired skills on
several instruments, an ASCAP membership, and an Engineering
Degree, I have shifted my enthusiasm onto the next level. I
assembled a home studio where I perform and produce my own
music. Influenced by Rock, Blues, Jazz, and Classical genres,
my compositions cross boundaries making for some interesting
listening. Checkout samples of my latest CD “String Theory” at

Influences and Equipment
Musical influences are too numerous to name (just ask me if
you really want to know). As for the band, I like to squeeze
my ‘80s sounds out of Fender Stratocasters and a Line 6
amplifier. |
